Opal sock yarn is made from 75% virgin wool and 25% polyamide, making it particularly durable and easy to care for. With a yardage of 425 m per 100 g, it's ideal for socks, scarves, hats, and even sweaters.

  • Needle size: 2.5–3 mm
  • Gauge (10 x 10 cm): 42 rows x 30 stitches
  • Consumption: approx. 100 g for a pair of socks up to size 46
  • Care: Washable up to 40 °C on a gentle cycle
  • Made in Germany

Since 2005, Opal has supported the "Save the Rainforest" association with the proceeds from its annual rainforest collections. To date, a total of €300,000 has been donated to purchase and protect rainforest areas.
